Things Life probably still have (that they have used so far):

Dark Domin
Light Stall(in some form)
Wings Stall(in some form)
Fire Stall (in some form)

i think they have probably run out of lightnings and RTs, leaving them short on CC. I think it will either be dark domin or a stall.
Ordinarily I would go with patient wardens, but i would like to hide the fact that we managed to keep that. I want to test Squid/Steam machine with explosions, which should be able to outstall dark domin with squids and explosions, and stallbreak the stalls with steam machines (and explosions in the case of wings)

Tested and got 4-1 against wings stall (can't see it losing to the other stalls either)
but only 6-4 against Dark Domin. The domin is very very fast. tough one.

Then I tried Speed Poison:

Dark Domin: 7-3
Wings: 1-0 (unfinished, but losing faith in the idea unless we specifically expect dark domin, because CC will be a pain)

OK i'm fairly sure life have nothing that can beat explosion wardens. the question is do we use something that's a bit more of a risk, like speed poison (they could purify splash their stalls) and save the surprise Wardens for a later round, or do we run it this round for an (almost) guaranteed win?

So far I am thinking:

Time: +ups toadmare
Aether: lt. Void dials (relics?)
Darkness: Merc Damseltal +2 relics
Light: unsure, possibly Dev/poseidon, needs testing
Life: Speed Poison, Steam Machines or Explosion Wardens

OK I have actually been testing our MERC Cata Titan (not even tinker) against Light's Firestall, and it does NOT do well, because of deflags, bolts on SoFo, and miracles. So we need a better stallbreak.

This tested 4-1. Some games are close, but by making sure you are clever with Deflags on Sundials it's usually ok.
Do people think that some match-ups would be better with squids instead of bolts? I actually only got to use them once in my testing because of mirror shield

since the firestall used by team light are terrible, i've made this with upped sancts that can make the difference: 5-5

early farhe for firestall is gg except a steal, another gg is not drawing a dark pend before half deck, the deck really lack power even with sopa with only 4 squids
early poseidon destroy fire stall, an early explosion on poseidon fuck us bad; if they get more than 10 fire quanta is really hard being not killed by bolts and fahre, is really important destroy the pends
i was able to quanta lock the light stall without sanct only one time; upped sancts made the difference in only one game; if they play a fire stall like this

lock them down is super easy, but that deck was used against life

do i continue using this deck against other  or the result against firestall is too crappy?

i think it is too inconsistent against firestall, you are right, thanks for the testing though!
If you still have time to test, try the Steam Machine deck against other light decks please!

vs peggie rush 1-4
vs pugons 1-3 the odds are too much against steammies, only with a well timed explosion u can think to do something, they have all the time to draw some shields
vs discosader 0-3 lmao

i feel like the deck with less pends is a lot better; u can't play a steam before your third turn except for a 2 pends + 1 upped pend in your hand, even if with some towers

yeah, I am cooling on the idea of steamies, but i struggle to find a better way to beat that fire stall, unless we move void dials to light, but then we need to think of something else for aether...

Screw it, with mines around this is a really important round, I don't think we should hide Wardens if they are the best match up.
The pretty much wreck everything Light could throw against us (unless they somehow still have fractals after definitely losing 3 last round, and probably losing more in previous rounds), so i want to run it there.

The more I think about it the more i think Life will run Wings stall with purify splash. As Gen i have run chrys twice, and splashing purify with 3 pends was even mentioned in chat with Solaris and Fippe around earlier. I'd suggest UG nymphs, but i worry about jade shield. Want to test Dev/poseidon

Time, I was happy with toadmare, but we need two vaggers for voids, and would need steal for Dev/pos if we run that. ugh, hard.

Aether i'm happy-ish with Void Dials, but i wonder whether it would be much more effective against Life, and run something else here. I expect mono, and like the idea of Dev/Poseidon. Nope, they all have too many marks.

Darkness still love Merc Damselfly, but it could be run against aether instead too.
