i know most of the decks work good but don't forget who our opponents are:
against gravity (essence)
wings = useless most of the time vs gravity, add some abyss crawlers? we have a lot of them and great in rushes upped
against fire (miniwally)
i still don't think this is a good deck, a rush will outrush it and if their stall decks can take nova with reflective shield to (i think they already did that once now?)
the life matches (me and blue)
squids are nice but adrealine crushes them, they'll make the poor squids cry.
control like lightning or bolts are bettetr against life or my favorite,entropy/water (i still think they're bad against fire).
against darkness (raving)
looks solid and that's important against darkness,no main weakness wich is good against darkness because they're really all round so a lot of options.
against air (unit)
i love light/water stall and i hope it'll make them cry ;D ;D ;D (evil isn't it xD)
against earth (dictator)
looks solid but i'm scared of being outrushed by nova rushes or grabby rushes wich are cheap to
against fire (wavedash)
i think this is a good option but to much deflags, you won't need more of them i think.
against light (vin)
pretty solid deck but now we have aether mark i think we gain to much aether but it will work lots better now we have the shields in it :D (their glories won't kill us slowly with them ;))

said this to in chat but say it more global here again.

Essence vs. Gravity: Most of gravity's creatures are not airborne (actually, only the dragon I think), so that means they have to use their momentum to kill us, after which the toads can kill the momentumed creatures.
And drawing two cards (creature and momentum) is harder than drawing one card, so that will slow them down.
Mini vs. Fire: I think you should play a few fights with it, it is a real killer, lost of control to slow rushes down (freeze, ice bolt, shock wave, lightning), and antimatters to make it even worse and stall a really long time.
nilsie vs. Life and bluesky vs Life : This deck is not the best against mono life with adrenaline, but who says they will take it?
me vs. Earth: well, you can't counter everything
wavedash vs. DEATH: very good counter
vinvick vs. Light : No, you won't have excess aether quanta, because this deck have more mindgates, and mindgates are really expensive.

Good point.  I'll play around and rebalance it around that idea and repost it later tonight.

Which is exactly why there're Reflective Shields in that deck; to get around their reflective shields. ;)

BTW, the point about Lightnings in that deck was a great one, Dictator.  Good catch, and good call to replace it with Shockwave.

Well, for Bluesky, Adrenaline isn't that big of a threat because he'll be Infecting everything, so Adrenaline just means a faster death.

For your deck, nils, that could actually be a big problem.  Lemme ponder that for a bit and I'll get back to you.

That's true, Earth is always a coinflip -- will they deny or will they rush?  You can't really handle both at once -- so here's what I want everyone to do.  Go into the chat and complain loudly about how :water can't handle denial. :D

And Wavedash, I'd like you to play another 20 games vs AI3 with your deck, and if it still feels imbalanced to you, come back and report. We've got less than 18 hours remaining, so let's get it done quick. :)

If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

100% of Gravity's decks from round 1 would ignore shields, so nils' advice is solid.  As such, here is my new deck:

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ia 5ia 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5ol 5ol 6rk 6rk 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gm
Four weapons might be excessive, but I'll take the chance in order to be able to balance speed (Longsword) with control (OE).
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I replaced one of the longswords and one of the crawlers with an arctic dragon, as those get past gravity shield, and when player I think you will almost always prefer an OE over an longsword.
I updated mini's deck (-1 reflective shield)
I gave nilsie a completely new deck (Water/Air control)
And I added the reflective shield from mini's deck to vinvicks deck.

Unit, any update on your ability to grind up those rares?
I he can't get them, I am willing to make a farm and do some pvp2 farming with him, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Good idea; I changed one Crawler back to a Longsword because it's cheaper, faster, and can't be stopped by Grav Shield.  It may seem excessive, but I've playtested it and it works well.

OK, let's try this out for nilsie:

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ib 5ib 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5on 5on 5on 5on 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 6rk 6rk 7gt
Squids+Toadfish = death while encased in ice.  And Longswords add SO MUCH SPEED, it's crazy.   Test this against some of Round 1's life decks if you can get together with someone and do it.

And change my deck to:

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ia 5ia 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5ol 5ol 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gt 7gt
I just realized I can get Abyss Crawlers through Grav Shield by Infecting them with Toadfish. 8)  That makes me a lot happier about taking them.

I'm going to be asleep until after the Deckbuilding deadlline passes, so nilsie, I'm leaving you in charge.  TheDictator, Make sure that Unit is able to build his deck, and if he's not, then swap his deck with Wavedash's.  That'll suck, but each one should be able to hold it's own against the other's opponent.

Good luck, yawlz.  See you after the deadline.

OK, let's try this out for nilsie:

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ib 5ib 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5on 5on 5on 5on 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 6rk 6rk 7gt
Nice deck, maybe I will give it one less sword and one more dragon, because this deck produces a lot of quanta (I decked out with 60+ water quanta, when testing against RR).
Edit: Tested, this is fine, no extra dragon, an early sword can do a lot more damage than a dragon.
