We were a bit moving away from the Immo-type of deck for Aether. Ask Jappert.

Yeah my deck had a few issues:
Not drawing a chrys or immolation in starting hand = GG
Not drawing Water pillars or Steamies = problem

Both Fire and Water quanta were very unstable (pumping the steam to much would result in not being able to play deflags for example)

I'm testing a new deck wich will be done today.

Is upgrading cards really worth it in the first round?

It is if it ensures us 2 more wins then we would have without upgrades. You're not required to use any upgrades, but it would help alot if you'd try to get one more Arsenic from T50.

Also, please playtest your deck to see if you like it, get familiar with it and report back.

EVERYONE PLEASE POST YOUR DECK + UPGRADES NEEDED IN THIS TOPIC

I do not have a second arsenic.
I'd like to use this variant:

Code: [Select]
52l 52l 52l 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 5ia 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5id 5id 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm
-1 arsenic +1 purify
I tested this deck against 3 decks: unupped USEM, adrenafrogs with cocks, and rustler-dragon-heal

5-0 against unupped USEM, 4-1 against adrenafrogs, and 1-4 against rustler

So dragons are the only real problem...should I replace the dragons with ice shields or bolts? I don't think they're going to use rustler, and otherwise bolt is useless...

Rav, is your deck final then?

Also: Nilsie, Vin, and Dict: please post the decks you would like to bring to the fight after testing, with all the possible upgrades/modifications (and please discuss those sacrifices first with RR), thanks!

When I saw this I started wondering as I had already posted it.
So I started searching and found it at the pre-war deckbuilding thread (that post is removed):

Code: [Select]
4vi 4vi 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 590 590 590 590 5f6 5i8 5i8 5ia 5ib 5ic 5ic 5ic 5if 5if 5og 5og 5v1 8pm 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6
I think I will play this deck, those upped pendulums really help, because 1 unupped pendulum and 1 nova = fourth turn trident, which means I can't start destroying pillars until turn 5, while 1 upped pendulum + 1 nova, or 2 pendulums = second turn trident, which is a lot more powerfull.
So, if allowed, I would like to use 6 upgraded cards.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
590 590 590 590 593 5ic 5ic 5ic 5ic 5id 5id 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5t2 5t2 5t2 8pm

Here's the deck I'm planning to use against Light. The only worry I have is a Fire/Light stall with a lot of Deflags and CC, but I doubt that's going to happen.

No upgrades are necessary, but if I had any, I would probably upgrade the 3 grabbys.

Update: Got an arsenic

52l 52l 52l 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5id 5id 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm

Gonna miss the lucky purify with a late shield against adrenascorps, though.
