Pre-War: Deck Brainstorming

Alright, so here is what we have (adding an asterisk to the ones I like most):

Sanc Stall/Rush [4]*

By majority, going to lock in the following: a sanc stall, which we can cut down and use as a 'rush' if need be; a grabbow, for which we can add support to be either speed-oriented or control-oriented; and a PUgons, which we can modify to included lightnings or silences from support if need be.

This covers a bow, a stall, and a stallbreak - ideally, we also have another stall, two domins, and three other decks, along with all the support. We can pull these from the other decks listed, or add new ones to consider.

It could use testing/tweaking by others but it performed well in my AI3 testing (trouble came on late-Disco draws and one game where I drew 3 quanta sources in top 16 cards!)...

I surely understand the trepidation at using a Trio.  However, this particular one may have merit - can you give it a whirl and see how it plays and/or provide suggestions if you think it _could_ work?  I feel it is a disservice to the event, team, and deck/vault preparation to discount a deck simply because it is a trio.

So far in AI3 (low-level testing) is scoring 6 and 7 TTW with 8/9 TTW on poorer draws or if the first Nymph is CC'd and the draw did not give multiple NT's in-hand...

Something we need to consider is making sure we have at least one deck that we didn't use last war, just to keep opponents on their toes. Liking the NT-UG deck as an option for that.

Idea is to get a Queen ASAP (or feel free to make an Auburn first if opposing a dangerous first/second turn creature OR you have multiple Tears/Queens in-hand) and then pump Auburns to match opponents field and/or Queens based on your quanta draw.  It works quite well, with the dangers being Wings, Dims, and a really early Lobo...

Honestly, if we go that route, I'd much rather run a straight trident/BB deck. Running it like that, Trident can shut down Dim chains, Lobo doesn't stop your damage, and you can put dragons in to fight against Wings. Very powerful deck.

Goal is 2nd turn Poseidon that smashes a stack of quanta every turn.  After that is set up, spam Crawlers, Dragons, and Toadfish with Queens for stallbreak damage expansion too.  BB to slow opponent's damage to give time for damage to come out after first couple turns focus on Poseidon becoming active.  Dim chains require lots of quanta which Poseidon accounts for while Dragons are to counter the first Wings (after that, quanta-smashing should prevent further Wings playing...).

Additional upgrades make this deck very strong, too.

*edit 1, per dd suggestion:  +1 BB... I did -1 Dragon for it.  If we suspect Wings, it could be reverted by +1 Dragon -1 Poseidon.*

Yep, just like that - I've always called it Serpentine in my deck folders. I'd swap something out for a 5th BB, though. Probably a dragon or a poseidon.

Here is a modification of Spiel's suggested Grabbow per dd's comment of desiring a second opening vault Grabbow but based on QP's since initial vault is limited to x9 novae.

As you might expect, QP's can be extremely frustrating at times giving all the quanta types you don't need and neglecting the element's quanta needed to dump-your-hand.  It can be considered and tweaked for inclusion if it fits the bill... :/
