Tiko, this is the only time I'm stealing your job. But this topic needs existance ASAP.

My point:

We need to build a counter deck for every of the 11 teams. We'd better not count underworld, because our deck'd be spoiled/useless by then.

Alright, I know I'm not a deckbuilder, but I've been thinking about this deck since War 2 ended.
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 590 590 590 590 590 590 593 593 5f6 5f6 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm
A Nova-Grabby deck is very very helpful in War. Deflags, and EQ's are cheap PC and things that could help in the deck, they can be subbed for anything (like Fog shield for example). The Water Pendulums and Toadfishes get good damage out along with getting grabby's out faster. Freezes for CC, and more water cards. 50% water, as well. Any suggestions would be very welcome. It fails hard to excessive CC, but has enough damage to get through it(usually).

I've tried it against AI3's and it worked pretty awesomely. I don't know what teams this would work against though (Maybe Darkness or Life?)

First thoughts mostly against Entropy/discord, but it can be made a basic stall too:

A spinoff of xdude's infamous water/light stall:

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i9 5i9 5i9 5i9 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lg 5lh 5lh 5li 5li 5li 5li 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq
Tests show promise so far..

As the epic noob of team water, I'd like to ask the questions with the obvious answers, such as:

How do we counter a deck if we don't know what deck they can use? All teams can use discord, deflags, dimensional shields, momentum, etc...

And another; basic rush-like setup, based on vinvick's idea:

Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 590 590 590 590 5c1 5f6 5f6 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ic 5ic 5ic 5ic 5ie 5ie 5ie 5if 5if 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm
Note: tweaking still may be needed, the deck works, but not as fluidly yet as I would like it to.

- We should teach the other teams not to underestimate the Trident. Also, looking up the draft decks may prove useful, there was excessive use of it back there:

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ic 5ic 5ic 5ic 5id 5id 5id 5id 5id 5id 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm

Ok. My first thoughts were about :entropy and :darkness.

:entropy 's power stands in nova, antimatter, discord and pandemonium.

Let's ignore all of them at once.

:darkness's power is generally in devtal, steal and vampirism. And a lot of off element versatility.

This was my :darkness deck

It's not even legit, but it's a possible plan.

These decks are just examples, and might need work.

flooding (although costly) has synergy with wardens, and do you really need that much earth quanta?
