You bring up a good point, OT. In giving Purify the ability to heal creatures, it did become a card that you can create combos around in your own deck, and that alone makes it a thousand times more useful than it was before. Time well tell if any of those combos are useful enough to affect the metagame, but yes, Purify is significantly better now simply because you can build with it as an active part of your strategy rather than just a passive counter.
