This thread keeps getting widely spaced random bumps, so went ahead and updated the card image to use our forum card image tool and re-added the poll that was lost all those years ago.

Btw, the "ao" in some languages is pronounced with an "ow" sound as in "cow," "sow" (a female pig), "how," "now," etc. So I'm going with kry-sow-rah.

Their name comes from a character in Greek mythology, Chrysaor, the son of Poseidon and Medusa and brother to Pegasus. His name is pronounced Khrusaōr from the Greek (Χρυσάωρ): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysaor

So the proper pronunciation is most likely khroo-sah-oh-rah, but I'm not 100% on this. Ask someone who speaks Greek natively.

first time i notice the "r" near the beginning of the word

always called it ci-sa-ora

totally sure that in greek u can't "separate" ora (ora et labora), in latin u can separate it in the spelling (o-ra), kri is kri, isn't krai, krahi or karai, also krai in greek stands for goat or something similar (idk if in your country u can find the kri-kri yogurt, probably the most famous greek yogurt label in europe).

so should be something like kri-sa-ora, greek and latins are totally different from english, u spell the word like u read it, the only things that can change the spell are two consonants near like gl+ a vocal  (u don't spell it g-l-i, u spell it almost like y-i) or sc+vocal (is something near to shi, not schi or ski) etc.
