I just can't help my self from laughing everytime I use Inundation .
The way it can kill so many opponent creatures at one for 2 :water.......perfect!
It sure helped me a lot get through harsh times. :)

icebolt, freezes and dmgs in one

^ Count me in, too.

Now that it can freeze weapons when they're targeted at enemy players, it's actually turned into my favourite card. :) Probably the best thing for  :water creature control 'cept Arctic Squid and also, can be used in stall decks and such.

1. Ice Bolt 2. Squid/Freeze 3. Nymph's Tears <---- this is my current view.  These cards make Water a element that stands out while also adding a lot of utility.

I really like Ice Lances.

When I started my Water deck, everything I learned about it was painful. First, the default Water element cards came with some Light element cards, and when I tried to make a duo-element deck, it backfired more often than not. Once I settled on pure Water cards and started making some electrum coins, the first card I decided to upgrade was the Ice Bolt to the Ice Lance, just because I used it so often. It helped me with saving some quanta, and I kept upgrading one Ice Bolt after the other. Once all 6 had been upgraded, it was time to start upgrading the pillars. Still, I felt that saving of quanta from the Ice Lances was marvelous already. All I need was just 1 quanta which is hard enough to get while we also are trying to make use of Water creatures.

Purify is the only water card i use. But i don't particularly like it, it is just a necessity. I guess I might like "nymph tears" once i get one and learn how to use it.
Purify is the only water card i use too, since it's good if you are poisoned or not  ;D
Have Fun !  :)

I personally would have to say Permafrost Shield, the amount of situations it can save you in is amazing, but if your running a mono water, it's terrible if it gets stolen since (mono) water has no PC...

*chants the spell of necroposting*

(Unupped) Toadfish. They come with efficient Attack-to-cost ratio AND capability of some, if slow, CC.

In fact, my usual grinder, mono-Water rush (with no creatures but them and dragons) with Air mark to fuel their poison, exploits just that. Even if the fishes got PU'd, theres no way they can poison if they don't have the Air quanta.
And since my Air quanta comes from the mark, there's no way they can poison if they don't have a source that generates Air quanta (since there's no way they can steal a mark).

Water Pillar's design is really beautiful, but otherwise, I like Purify for design and utility as healing and poison ridder.

I have to say that I love Ice Bolt's design, and the different ways you can use it as CC, Weapon Control (WC?), direct damage, etc. make it useful in a lot of situations.

Other than Ice Bolt, Toadfish has to be my favorite. My very first deck was based around Toadfish and it was a Water/Air/Aether trio.. (which is probably why I like all of them so much..:) ).
