Consider this: Nymphs are the ONLY card that costs over 900 :electrum when selling unupgraded. It is SUPPOSED to be OP! Besides, this actually can give this card much more usage compared to none at all. Think about it, what about the Golden Nymph? Same stats, but also an abusive ability.

Cards are not supposed to be OP. If there was a card that instantly dealt 100 damage to the opponent, it still should be nerfed even if the only way to get it was some obscure method such as beating 5 false gods in a row without using any unupped cards in a blue moon while eating burritos.

Let me rephrase that, not OP, just better than all other cards, or at least more powerful and more potential.

Rarity does not factor in any way, form, or shape towards balance. Even nymphs have to NOT be OP.

Whether a card is OP or not is dependent on PvP. Testing against FGs doesn't really give it that accurate of a OP check.

might not be OP but it is definitly powerful now, the deck Chapuz made can rush like crazy o.o and can be very resistant to CC, with each nymph having 9 hp

I probably have a controversial opinion.

I think upgraded nymphs need to be slightly overpowered.
Why?
The cost to upgrade a nymph is greater than a normal card. There is no way to downgrade cards and many PvP events are unupped to be inclusive. Normally a replacement card can be bought/grinded for the unupped events if a desired card was upgraded. Nymph are rare enough that this is not possible. I should note that this reasoning has no impact on the unupped nymphs.

However I should note that the power of a card and the resale value of a card have no connection. The electrum value of a card is not an in game cost and does not warrant an in game benefit.

Slightly Less powerful
Normal
Slightly More powerful
Uber
Slightly Less powerful, normal, and slightly more powerful are completely fine. Its when cards are junk and uber that they need to be berfed

AI doesnt seem to be allowed to target water towers if one :water queen is already in play.  ends up being an expensive abyss crawler if you dont have other colors of pillars to target.  just something to consider if you are trying to submit a monowater arena deck based off queen/tears
