at first glance this deck looks like it couldn't do very well due to the highly expensive creatures but surprisingly it can clear the board in around 6-8 go's

this deck can be largely un-upgraded and successful but it is important that you own a complete set of upped puffer fish or it upsets the whole balance (you need the mark of air for it to be useful which tilts quanta balance)

Not true. Toadfish is good in water rushes for it's cost/damage, so you can ignore the ability in this case.

If I were you, I would replace all those Puffer Fish with Abyss Crawler instead.
My idealized elements cycle:
Water -> Fire -> Air -> Earth -> Lightning -> Metal -> Light -> Darkness -> Wood -> Water

pufferfish upped doesn't need air quanta....
unupped does, and if u read, he mentions that...
