Chrysora and Freeze are so cheap that it's not difficult to play them off-hand while saving up for the Dragons. The Dragons deal most of the damage, of course, but the Chrysora put down some significant poison damage that is importantly almost impossible for the AI3s to block. When you come up against the Death/Fire AI3, for example, it will often find ways to kill your Ice Dragons, but you can survive because Ice Shield stops the Skeleton Rush, and Freeze can lock up any big Vultures that build up -- and the Poison will kill him eventually.
The Gravity/Light AI3 is your worst enemy, because your Dragons don't bypass Gravity Shield, and it will eventually get a few Blessed Momentumed somethings out there that will ignore your shield -- and you will regularly run out of Freezes before he gets poisoned to death. That said, I've still beat him 6/10 games I've played against him with this deck.
The importance of Ice Shield cannot be overstated. It allows you to save your Freezes for the big threats, completely eliminating the small ones and giving a 30% chance to freeze each incoming attacker for 3 turns. That means for any one attacker, it's statistically likely to only actually attack in 10 out of any 19 turns. That's almost as good as Procrastination and Dusk Mantle, only it also prevents a point of damage!
Now, I have also had excellent luck changing the Mark over to Air and the Chrysora and one Dragon out for Toadfish. It's much more creature control, and the Toadfish make excellent attackers, but it feels like a little too much control in some games. In all, I chose this setup because Poison is just so unstoppable, and with the Freezes in place, there's not a lot (Eagle's Eye) that can keep your Chrysoras off the board. Just remember that you only need to put down one at a time; two or more will use up the Death quanta faster than you're producing it.
