So after the new patch came out I wanted to try to utilize SoP and actually have it in a deck that CAN win (as well as using flooding). This is what I have come up with so far, and it works fairly well in PvP.

I was thinking of putting in a shield but I realized the squids can freeze even if not attacking so there is no real point to that. Basic strategy for this is to obviously play the squids, continuously freeze their units while they get incredibly buffed and then unleash hell.

Quite vulnerable to PC and CC but this is the first version I've got out, so I will be testing it today. I'll post stats in an hour or two.

Edit: I am unable to gather up any significant stats tonight, so far it has 7 wins and 11 losses in silver league so it's semi-decent but not near enough to be warranted for good use. I'll continue gathering stats later - until then use at your own risk IF you want. I'm going to work on upping it and see how the upped works versus the unupped.

I played against a deck like this in plat and it tore apart my SoSac because the shards kept them from attacking when I put up my shards...really neat deck but definitely with some vulnerabilities like CC and almost useless against an Aether shield deck.

First , with 12 creatures in your deck how often do you find yourself playing the 6th creature out with FLooding so you get that +4/+4 bonus ?

Also , Toadfish +  :air Mark is devastating to a great many decks , especially backed up by SoP . While Blue Crawler is sitting there getting bigger , a Toadfish is sitting there getting bigger AND maybe poisoning stuff while you freeze it .

Personally I think that Ice Shield , SoG or the 3rd SoP all have a better place than Flooding  because this is technically a control/stall deck and the time either those will have a more broad impact than Flooding [SoG > Ice Shield probably] .

It's just hard for me not to see Flooding as the weakest 2 cards in the list .

Been a while since I even checked the forums.

You have a point about the 6th creature. Although, I usually do end up with at least 2 getting the +4/+4 buff so it's not too worrying. If I can play the Squid's then I have an even higher chance to get more out. I did tweak the deck a bit, and I have upped 10 pillars, and the 6 Abyss Crawlers. I'm working on 6 Toadfish since I bought them.

The win rate for the unupped in silver was actually far better than I had expected, but it was only at around a 45% win rate. Nothing too great. Once it's all upped I believe it will work far better. I'll re-post here once I have the deck fully upped.
