I tried this deck to grind bronze. It didn't work. But glad to know it works for AI3 and for quite cheap price too. Plus it's high winrate. SPAM HAHAHAHA.
ahem. On dry spell, it had a strategic niche, but IMO it won't work as well as just pure NT simplicity.

Decided to survey 5 NTs vs 6 NTs
games 21, losses 2, full pillar openings 2
Both losses to mono aether. One was a full pillar hand
ttw count EM
6 3
7 9 1
8 4
9 2
11 1
NB written at samplesize 20 6NT should have 17% full pillar hands, whereas 5NT should have 24% full pillar hands. Yet here my stats have an NT in opening hand 90%. Does full pillar trigger mulligan? Also important: having two NTs in opening hand when you go first means you will have a turn 3 nymph rather than turn 2. 5NT has 44% of opening hands with only one NT, whereas 6NT only has a 40% chance to have exactly 1 NT. Basing these random numbers off of http://stattrek.com/online-calculator/hypergeometric.aspx with sample size 7. Including stats to take into account drawing 8 cards for opening hand would only press in 5NT's favor

Will update as I test more

I know it completely defeats the purpose of this deck, but I've also wondered whether nymph's tears or nymph queen would be the better choice.  If someone had some queens, would it be better to use some of those in place of tears or not?  The queen costs more to play, but it doesn't cost you a pillar to do so.

I think that would be based on the numbers of the deck, mostly QI. However, it would free up more flexibility of outside-element pillar/pend, and thus have more value in a duo or trio without using a water pillar/pend but just a mark and other pends.

When I have access to them, I use 2 Queens in monoqueen rushes. It's mostly to make sure I draw something other than pillars before I die x)
Quite often I also pack 2 Ice Shields. They offer the most for a single card in ways of defence.

I'm currently upping water pillars/pends for the sake of having them to use, I have 3 nymph queens to play around with so I'll see what I can do.

This deck's been working fairly nice for me in the trainer so far, dry spell is definitely a nice addition, it's just a shame that dessication only affects the enemy field. :(

I think this deck should be publicised more because it is a great way to get started. You can make the deck from the get go (pick water), and easily get your rare weapon and make money.

I ran a test in pvp 1 with 30 games

22 wins
8 loses
64%

TTW: 7

The build was:

This seemed to me to be the most consist version to get that 2nd turn nymphs tear.

This deck is the best starter, getting the rare weapon by going through the quests and wining 4 straight pvp battles:

This has surely been done many times before, but you added stats! ;)

I feel as if Dessication has a place in these decks (which spam high HP creatures)

I've tried this a couple times in Bronze arena with middling results.  Any tips for balancing keeping enough pillars to keep the quanta coming and making more nymphs fast?  I feel like I either tend to make too many nymphs and run out of quanta, or make too few and get counter rushed.

I think adding a few dry spells is useful because it helps the quanta starvation at the end, allowing you to pull off a big rush at the end for the finisher, making it hard to time miracles. It also counters the odd gravity shield in PvP. Some purifies might work to countering poison and SoSac. However, I haven't tried it with purify.
The important thing about a low probability is that it's not zero

I made a Java simulation for this deck https://github.com/ValerioCietto/ElementsTheGame/blob/master/SimulateElementsTG.java
On 1000 games it returns
[0, 0, 0, 0, 425, 380, 38, 37, 35, 20, 19, 12, 9, 5, 9]
which means 425 games won on 5th turn, 380 wins on 6th turns and go on.
It doesn't takes in consideration the opponent at all, so earthquakes and opponent offensive is not calculated.
It is just a simulation of the raw offensive power.
With all unupped
on 1000 games
[0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 301, 521, 70, 25, 20, 17, 16, 9, 5, 4]

with pillars unupped and tears upped
[0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 362, 478, 51, 23, 22, 15, 12, 13, 4, 7]

with pillars upped and tears unupped
[0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 803, 43, 40, 32, 18, 20, 16, 9, 7, 4]

Then upping it is worth a turn less to win.

Curiosity:
if water nymphs would have 8 attack on 1000 plays:
[0, 0, 0, 221, 552, 69, 39, 27, 22, 17, 15, 10, 11, 9, 4]
