-12 is somewhat acceptable, though normal Salvage is favourable. Remember, 5 teams are already on the ropes, +6(7) cards probably won't affect the length of the event,
at the same time it gives that sweet feel of accomplishment. Listen to your inner angel, and ignore devil-serp.

That aside; we have 4 more rounds including this one and 7 teams are alive.
Basically, this:

I'm not willing to reduce the net loss for EC any further. Increase/revert it to 6/24, perhaps.

With the EC as is right now(assuming everyone plays P5, and nobody gets extra salvage or discards):
and can't lose this round.
loses if it wins none of their regular matches.
loses if it loses any 4 matches.
and lose if they lose 3 of their regular matches, regardless of P5 result.
barely stays alive (exactly 80 cards) if it wins P5 and any other two matches.

I mean cant complain cause they win war anyway, but they basically have to field their entire vault this round. match 5 really should be treated as if none of the cards in vault were used (field an additional deck where all cards stilll in vault may be used regardless of if they are used elsewhere) and discards should be from vault. if that change is made i dont mind full stakes tbh, I'm kinda waiting for anyway.

Still no salvage...? So it's literally just making us Discard more for the sake of it? Giving lower teams higher priority is meant to act as a rubber band, which means salvage here would be greatly appreciated, but I suppose no more changes so w/e

Also your math is definitely off, 131 - 48 discards is 83, which is above the threshold of 80. And this is before taking into account the salvage, unless this post is wrong...?
