War: Underworld

Underworld is an event designed to give players who didn't make a team through the Auction a second chance to join the War. They can even win the entire event! The path to victory will be difficult, but with skill, determination, and maybe even a bit of luck, you now have a chance to get payback on the Generals who didn't think you were valuable enough to join their team.

Signups closes in: Signups are over

1) Read War: Underworld Rules (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13922.0.html). These may change before the event starts.

All of those are dishonest and should not be done by any player, and there would be ramifications for it. If you can find a good, honest way to lower your value and get into Underworld then by all means do it. I won't stop thatt. But there is no point to lying your way into any event, let alone one you have a good chance of participating in anyways.

If i understand this well, i should go to the underworld event, because i did not past the auction, no matter that anyone bid on me.
It seems that no one team needs a player with half million score and an experince in the past two wars.

If it's like the last war, in a few days, Round 1 of War will begin. At the same time Round 1 of Underworld will begin. The rounds of both will run somewhat close to each other. After the tournament is over, Underworld will have time to set up a Vault and roles. Then a few days after that they will join into a round of War.

Quick suggestion as well since i know this situation will end up happening. Have you thought of making a waiting list of UW players who place 9th, 10th, 11th, etc in the tourney for those teams that will need replacements? That way teams can't just arbitrarily pick a player as a replacement?

The problem with that is last War, there were teams who need replacements before the underworld tournament got that far.

Team are still only allowed to pick players that were in the auction, even if a player who wasn't in the auction gets eliminated and a team needs a replacement at that time.

I would like to be replaced. I want to take some time until I start missing the game. If forfeiting from the event is illegal (i.e. I can't join in next War as a punishment), I will go on with this. It's not that I don't have time, I just want to leave the Forums for some time.

Normally I wouldn't do this, but since you were only a few minutes late and you're the only other one who expressed interest, you're in.

You'll get the same opponent Krathos would have had.
