Then, if it is like Zeru said, Water needs the Essence's 2-0 win bonus.

Just me being picky... the penalty column is hard to read against the gray background, as it stands now (super easy to read against the black totals background).

Just a question, is there anywhere we can check where our card penalties are from? Also another note, if possible, please make a more detailed uh, guide in the war-rules thread under penalties section so we know exactly how much are we penalized for the different penalties because I clearly do not see any -3 card penalty in the list.
Like Zeru already said, negative penalty = bonus. I had to do it that way because there is no "bonus" column in the spreadsheet.

The negative penalty is caused by the Event Card and we most likely won't be seeing it after round 1.

Death's bonus count is off. So far two of our wins have received the bonus and it has only accounted for one. Thanks SG.

i think my battle by battle list worked much better clearly showed how many total cards were being gained or lost

The problem was that your battle list was not a spreadsheet, therefore it would have required manual edits.

It might seem exciting and fun at first, but after you have done that 100th manual edit, it's not that fun anymore. I don't think you fully understood what you were getting yourself into, and I know what I'm talking about because I edited the standings manually during War #1. It was a very painful process that I don't wish to even to my mortal enemy.

Spreadsheets are definitely the way to go here because they do some of the work for you.

i did not say the method was that great but your current spread sheet could use some more columns to give a better picture.

There's no room for that. One extra column might sound like a small thing, but when you have to put that one extra column 12 times, once per each round, it makes the spreadsheet way too wide. Not everyone has a big screen, and vertical scrolling is lame.

I could always rename the "Penalties" to something else, then make penalties negative and bonuses positive.

You could rename it something like Round Modifiers.

A nitpick: I'm wondering how Earth has a +6 card bonus when they've only recorded one victory?

EDIT to add: By my count they should actually be at 0 bonus ... sorry team Earth, not trying to pick on you.
