Thats kind of another point actually because some people might use, say a time based deck but have the mark of gravity for their scarabs. If I were time do I have to use the time mark in my duel.

Im not sure but I think what antagon was talking about was changing mark in the middle of a round after posting your deck in your team forum.

I think it should be allowed.
firstly because you still have a deck based on your element.
secondly because its neccesary in lots of decks.
thirdly because one of my favorite decks would be screwed over  :P

I made some changes to War timeline.

Like previously, one round will last a total of 6 days. Instead of using the old 2/4 system, we are changing to:

3 days of deckbuilding and salvaging/discarding
3 days of duels

This was changed because deckbuilding is such a crucial part of the whole thing, and only 2 days to complete it is not nearly enough.

I know 3 days of duels might make things a bit difficult but we have the replacement system in place so it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

I'm hoping this system works because if it doesn't we have to start using 8 day method that would make War last a lot longer.

Well, the original idea was that it should be anything BUT 7 days because I wanted the days to rotate. Otherwise a player who is never able to play at a specific time of week, would be unable to join.

It's the same problem we have with tournaments. They are always at the same time, so a person who's working at that time, will never be able to join a single tournament.

But maybe we can change it to 3/4. I have to think about it. Also feedback from others is appreciated.

Ahhh, i didn't realize that. Makes sense. But 4 days is a good portion of the week for people to play and if you made it Wed-Sat most people should be able to squeeze in their battle. If they can't they really shouldn't sign up for War. Also if it's standardized i think it makes it a little easier.

I like the idea of standardisation of deadlines so that people can work with that time consistently but on the other side we don't really want to make this last longer either.

There isn't as much trouble here as with tournaments because people have 2+ days to organise a time to battle and it's just just 2 windows of 2 hours.

Hm.. you might be right. Having it last 1 week could work.

I would probably go with

Mon-Wed: Deckbuilding
Thur-Sun: Duels

This way a new round would begin at the start of the week.

However one round lasting 7 days is definitely a problem when my original plan was to finish this thing in about a month.
