It's unclear to me--is there an extension in the Round 5 deadlines due to the Thanksgiving holiday?  If it were up to a vote, I'd vote in favor of it and I'd add time to both phases, but the deckbuilding part for sure since after that, the decks can't be changed.  Anyway, my 2 cents.

I'd also support extensions in other rounds for other well-recognized holidays in other nations.

Death going 1-8 timerclock? Really? I guess death still gets a bit underestimated.
He also put entropy as 0-8, I find that to be unlikely no matter how you look at it.

:water wavedash is not fighting, so :light Fenix2011 (his opponent) gets a bye. I edited the first post to include this information.
Quote
Opponents will be determined randomly by Warmasters using an online randomizer. If there are uneven number of players fighting during a round, the team in last place (least amount of cards in the Vault) gets a bye, meaning that one player in that team will skip the round. If that team already had a bye during the previous round, the 2nd to last team gets a bye instead. No team may have a 2nd bye unless all other active teams have had at least 1 bye.
Is Light being given the bye due to the special circumstances of the late match results?

Currently Life and Gravity are tied for last.  If no byes have ocurred, a tiebreaker is required.  I mentioned the need for a tiebreaker before the War.  Here's  (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12391.msg172291#msg172291)your response.  If Light isn't being given the bye it should go to Life with a lower win ratio.
Yes, you are correct. I actually forgot we had this new rule.  I used the old rule of random byes.

I'll fix it right now.

:life has the least amount of cards so they will get a bye. I took all life players and randomly selected one. Lucky winner was willng3. I then gave willng3 a bye, and put Fenix2011 (who didn't have an opponent) against the person willng3 was supposed to fight.

It should be fixed now according to what the rules say. Hopefully this didn't inconvenience people too much.

Short version:
willng3 from team :life gets a bye during this round.
:gravity girlsgeneration will fight :light Fenix2011
Goodness gracious it took me forever to get all of this straightened out in my head...glad I took the time to read through this entire thread before asking what the change was about and looking like a fool in the process.  Fear not team, I will assist any way possible regardless of me being removed at this time.

Also, Gravity as 5-0, Water as 4-1, Life as 3-1, and Fire as 3-6. Guess he's rooting for the underdogs?

Yeah, I was going to talk to you about that. We probably have to make some changes to the icon. It looks great full-sized, but as I expected, not so great when scaled down because it loses a lot of detail. Also one major problem is it being too close to :darkness icon.

I do like the design though and it did win the vote, so I think with some tweaks, we will get it to work much better. Good place to start would be to change the background color from grey to what "other" icon is in the game (subtle brown).

Hrm... then a lot of the icons submitted would have had the same problem... woulda been nice to have thought about that ahead of time, while the competition was ongoing. Oh well, won't change anything now, will it?

I agree with the background color change, maybe that'd bring out the details that are there better?

i'd rather keep the background and change the wings color because the contrast is much...nicer imo

i did scale it down to see how it'll look like but i didnt scale it down to actual forum icon sized
and i've actually tried using red wings instead of black, not sure why that didnt stick

edit: ok, honestly i'm still learning to use this image manip thingy (pixlr)...i suck
this is what i came up with...anyone who wanted to have at it (and have sufficient PS skill, PM me and i'll give you the layered document *.pxd)
