event cards should affect all team equally

giving lame excuses like theres a series of similar event cards giving advantage to certain element each round is just idiotic and not all thought out

anyone using :light cards has the biggest advantage this round
consequently, Team Light has the highest due to 50% light cards in vault clause
BUT, in later rounds, some other element will have a much bigger advantage because of the 30-cards discard rule
to make it fair, there should be an event card each round that give this kind of advantage, meaning at LEAST we need to see the 13th round (each round except the first)
12 rounds = 3 months

without even speculating how long the war will go on for, just think about this for a second...
are you serious?

change the event card right this second and scrap this whole event series idea
the first one is awesome, great...kudos to whoever thought of it
but this one (and consequently all in the stupid series) is just plain terrible

Toimu, so agree :D :D
But really, whew that if the person is substituting, s/he gets no upped cards.
Coinich, I second that, wish someone would do a poll.

Even though I face a light opponent this round I'm not overly bothered by the event card.  I kind of like a bit of flavor with random swings.

That said, I would probably feel differently if I was death or darkness and every deck I faced was going to have free holy lights ("one shot your creatures for 0 quanta") in it.

I'd say it's certainly unfair to certain teams.  This round could easily damage them badly.

I seriously dont understand WHY give completely arbitrary advantage to any element. I mean, this is a competition, right? Its not reality show with loads of spectators who enjoy watching unlucky team got beaten down.

Additionally, does anyone actually enjoy upped vs unupped fight? On any end? I take zero pleasure beating unupped deck with upped one, and I dont consider it a good game if upped deck stomps my unupped deck.

well to be fair seeing a random noobie beats a general or lieutenant is epic but having it in a grand scale such as this is just dumb

OK, guess I'm just weird, not being bothered by this. Maybe it's because I'm not facing a person from team light or an element with great synergies with it. Maybe not. Regardless, someone said this was a bad idea because it's plain and simple luck. True, but think about how much luck is already involved! It's luck what element your opponent is from, whether or not your element is strong against that element, if you're fighting someone with an inherent advantage(general, lieutenant), how well you draw during your games, if you desynch on a game you would have won, but before it's a really clear winner. The list goes on and on.

I know it disadvantages certain people/teams, and I'm not saying I love the idea, but I just don't see that it's as bad as everyone seems to think.

It also makes :light best strategy to just use Rastafla (as :light sub and guy that actually has all cards upped) for most of their matches if their other players cant afford upgrades, which completely goes against "hey, lets involve rookies/new players in such an epic event like War".

- this card has no affect when substituting(substitutes don't get the upped cards)
Um... Your argument is invalid.

Personally, I don't find this card to be a huge problem. Unless you have multiple light matchups, just send your upped deck v. ours. Or, better yet, predict what we'll up, and counter it.

Also, I suppose I have some grinding to do now.

EDIT: After thinking about it, Team Light is actually the least helped by this. The other teams could duo light, and surprise their opponent, but everyone expects ups out of Light.
