Suggestion for War #3, a new position: Prize Fighter.

When Prize Fighters face one another they may convert their whole deck to upgraded.
Not bad. I like it.

I just want to watch.
http://www.elementsthegame.com/spectate.html

Matches will be announced on chat. When you see that, load that spectate page and type the names of players in the brackets.
I think someone posted a longer tutorial for this at some point? Can anyone find it or was it my imagination?

Or can someone who is bored maybe produce one (with images)? There's a spot open for it in the Newbie Tutorials section.

I prefer my pocket tutorial version. You can carry it with you in a bus, you can put it under the bed when you dont need it, its perfect to write it down on your left arm. Very practical.

That would be pretty sweet. Would certainly put a premium on top scorers as no team would want to be stuck with a Prize Fighter with limited upped cards.

instead of introducing a role/position that does nothing unless two faced each other, why not make it Master vs. Master?

edit: i meant to say General vs General

Suggestion for War #3:
Disruptor: Whoever loses to the disruptor has to discard 36 cards instead of 30.

Well i would certainly love it if that was the case.  ;)

But in all fairness i think it would be better as a position on a team rather then a Master role. It would be an unfair advantage because some Masters have a lot of upped cards (like me) and some simply don't.

Aren't Masters required to have an upped set of cards of their element? >_>

No, but it's definitely an advantage.

i dont see it as unfair at all
bear in mind nothing in the rules said EVERY team must have the exact numbers of rares/upgraded cards in their collection so why would it be unfair now?

if a Master doesnt have a lot of upgrades...
first of all, congrats on winning the title with a handicap
second, tough luck buddy

Edit: i meant to say General, NOT Master (edited previous post with my original intention)

General vs General are the epic matches, in part due to the fact they get to use 6 upped cards in their deck
so why create a role just to trumps this but only if by random chances they face each other?

Maybe because there are a lot of REALLY good players, and only 12 generals. Not all vets are generals, and not all generals were once at...say... top50

If possible, arrange players in order to play with players of their timezones preferably.

a simple suggestion for upcoming rounds and future wars
let say by chance in Round 1 element A gets paired off with element B twice (or more), for the next round, if A gets paired with B again, reroll the dice or better yet, remove B from the list altogether

and for future wars, if an element gets paired with another element,  reroll if they get paired again

(only for early rounds of course, once the war near the end with not many teams...its a different story)
