There should be a thread dedicated to people bashing other elements. The posts on this page were pretty funny.

One thing I've noticed today is that the war forum section's icon which shows if there has been recent posts seems to light up whenever anyone posts in any team's thread (or at least I assume this is the cause) so its almost always lit up even when there are no new posts for me . This isnt a big deal, but just something that is moderately annoying for someone who spends WAY too much time sitting on the forums looking at new topics .

Hmm... Does this mean there is a hidden board in the False Gods section?  Because I constantly get the and when I look there are no new topics in there or the Strategy section.

Actually, from what I've seen this is caused by the strategy portion. Whenever there is a new post in any of the FG strategy threads, you have to go the the FG strategy section, not just the fg who's updated, for the new post thing to clear. So you can look at all the new posts, and still not have it clear if you dont go to that section rather than just the individual fg pages.

I was thinking about how anticlimactic it is when a player accepts a buyout and all that's announced is just a few words, right? So maybe there should be like a gavel GIF with sound in replacement of the application. I kinda like the idea but it might be too late in the game to think about it. So I'm just putting my idea out there

Topic needs to stay unlocked so people can go  in awe. Locked topic is no fun.

I guess I won't be participating in this war, then. Looking forward to War 3.

I think I heard somewhere that we were going play 1 round per week, like 3 days of salvaging/deckbuilding and 4 days of matches (at least for the early rounds when there are 9 players per team fighting).  I suggest we set it so that Mon Tues Wed are the deckbuilding days and Thurs Fri Sat Sun are the match playing days.  Most players will have an easier time getting matches played if they have the whole weekend, and some consistency would be helpful for the schedule.

I think it would be great to see followers in the war - so people can support the element they want and to encourage more people in the community to be involved (including those who love elements - are active in card creation and art sections - but don't like PVP). Something along the lines of this:


 
Missed out on joining the war?? Too experienced to be a rookie, not famous enough to make it into a team?? Why not throw your support behind a team now and boost your chances for being in the next war. Declare your support for an element and let the rest of the elements world know who you are.

Who are Followers?
Followers are players who support a team in the war and put there name along with the team for victory. They offer support for their element, defend the element's name and watch it progress through the war. Although they aren't involved in the fighting or other war-procedures (as per the rules) they still support their team and watch the war unfold.

Why bother?
- Next time war comes around, you can point out that you followed the war and everything that happened..
- You get your name known to the team you put support behind - they know who you are and this means you stick out next time in the auction list.
- You become involved. Let the other elements know what you think and defend your element
- Get your name out there with followers (depending on the team) announced on the teams propaganda page.

So don't just watch from the sidelines, put up your hand and support your element in the war!

On first read I found the idea a bit pointless, but if for whatever reason team needs a replacement (as in some player goes MIA), picking a new one from "followers" would be great. If someone was following the war without even being a player in it, he/she probably wont just disappear after being picked. So, why not

followers can already participate by helping with the propaganda section, any contribution (pointless or otherwise, even if its just to say "hi, i like <element>") will have them earmarked as a follower so its not necessary to make it official
