About auction...
To make it more active and interesting, I'd say that as soon as first bid is placed on a player, start the countdown for that player. 24 hours with no other bids, player is sold.
How would it work:
- players have a week to sign up for a war
- player A signs up on the first day, and receives a first bid
- couple of masters make their bids on same player the next day
- 48 hours from there, player is SOLD to highest bidder even though sign up period isnt over yet.
- after sign up period ends, apply current rules of overtime
Why?
- Masters would be encouraged to be active during bidding time instead of dropping all their bids on final day. They would get the chance of snipping someone cheaply that manages to go under radar, but early bidding would be more risky as later signups could be more interesting.
- Getting 1-2 players early in the team could help master at later bidding as at least he can count on those being in the team already. They could also help with propaganda section and help master browse the market for other players.
- It would prevent what KDZ did at last days of auction - placing bids all over the place on players he knows he wont get on the team. Those bids overprices the players making them less desirable for other masters. Those moves dont really hurt the masters - they have enough players to bid on; it hurts those players as they now have less chance of getting on any team.
- Finally, it would be more interesting.
