Strategist was my favourite role during War#6, I've always liked the idea of a sideboard, it makes player skill more important.

I'd however advocate a 6-card sideboard to make it really matter.

Overall I quite like the rules and system so far, let's see how it eventually works out.

Well, if the vault tool has all the correct deck checks (including all the convoluted boosts) then i don't mind them.

no, he can. Any pillar/pend except quantum is turned to in element.

Stop complaining. We had a sideboard role in War #6 (strategist) and it worked well and everyone understood how it worked.

we did and that worked because that was an actual sideboard from reading through this is take up to 3 cards out of the original deck but there is nothing to change it with this seems to be just dump three cards and make sure your deck is still legal.
love makin my decks unusual if able. Chaos and luck are widely regarded as different i beg to differ just refer to :entropy but for those in the know also refer to :time and :death.

No, because in War 6 you could start the match with a 30 card deck, having removed cards. Here you can't do that until the second game.

dd is right - specifically refer to item 2.2.3 here in War 6 rules for reference.  Initially I remembered it the way Fippe stated here but looking it up realized dd is right.  Hmmmm...

www specified that the first game must be played with the full deck so that the person with the deck doesn't wait for other matches to be completed before deciding what cards to take. It should be fine as long as the deck to be used in the first game is specified during the deckbuilding phase. This could be done by noting which cards will be removed for game 1 in a post in the secret section, or in the unused "Deck Name" cell in the vault tool. It's up to the WMs to decide whether to allow that or not.

3.1 DETERMINING OPPONENTS
Amount of cards in the Vault determine how many players from each team participates on a round:

0-49 cards=team is eliminated
50-74 cards=2 players fight
75-99 cards=3 players fight
100-124 cards=4 players fight
125-150 cards=5 players fight
