A dead team Life was able to use an EC last round, but that was simply due to complications.

What?  You mean a team that was alive to start the Round and eliminated mid-round was able to use the EC?  If so then that makes sense.  Otherwise we'd have to start mandating "match play orders" in the schedule too.  Surely that isn't something teams/players would welcome...

I think he meant last war. Life was out R6, but we were still included in the R7 EC.

Some matchups may have had double-usage thereby effectively wasting (1) EC-unit worth of doubling...?
