Well, our reasoning was:
1. fire is already dead
2. fire messed with us a lot
3. we want to play but wouldn't want to disturb the main event too much

Wanting a new winner, other than and might also seem a valid reason.

While I get your reasons, I was really hoping you guys would've chosen Darkness. I don't think it'd have affected darkness too much, but I'd like to see how the team with best record vs Darkness dealt with them as a ghost.

What are people's thoughts about a 1 week extension for next round?

I can't speak for everyone but I know that I'll be extremely busy over the next two weeks, and won't always have easy access to a computer. I'd like to be able to take some time off to enjoy Christmas.
