Pretty much agree with tree. I will just add that mindgating is more important for the weaker elements. However, I think the weaker elements benefit a lot more from upgrades compared to the stronger elements. I think an increase in the number of upgrades will help make the weaker elements slightly more competitive.

But tbh, in war, life is the only element that I would consider "weak". Earth, gravity, light, water, air, and time have all had success in recent wars, but been subjected to poor RNG or failed mind gates. Life is the only element that hasn't established itself as competitive. I think a part of that is a lack of a veteran leader and active team members. Given the element's history, I can appreciate the difficulty to recruit a good team. But life is capable of beating any deck from any element. This is true of all elements, it's just easier for some.

 Frankly the Marsu was the best player of  :life that I knew, in the BL he use  :life and could make competitive decks.

 I belive rainbow can be the solution to help deficiencies of a element and reduce to 1/3 in elements so that no off element has a higher amount of cards relative to the main element.

 Eliminate the vault, it causes many headaches for WM's and players. then a free choice of cards and allow change the decks during the duel.

 Shards can be style the WC 2013, when a BO5 could use shards in just 2 rounds.

 I say this because I believe that war should be a battle between elements, so no need to be like this in the current format, I consider that this is inappropriate to what happens in the original pvp ETG. (pvp1 and pvp2)

War is too complicated.I saw alot of mistakes.That causes decreasing activity of players that doesnt understand vault-salvage,etc...
Making War simplyer will make it more interesant.Even rules mentioned by Vangelios are ok with me.
Vault is ok.Using your own element is ok too.But salvage-spoil system is complicated.

Agreed. I suggested after last war to simplify the event, and it just got more complicated.

The length of the event can be taxing as well. May need to find other strategies to shorten war.

 What are your main suggestions? what do you think feasible? as make it less tiring and more enjoyable?

 I believe that the Wm's gone out because the headache it this gives.
 I remember that in my first war Glenn and Acs had no time to do the vault (because Real Live), Glenn asked for me but I did not do this because I don't know.

So, tossing this in before everyone simplifies war into a league with elemental affiliations, vault is the main reason I participated in wars (and never have in leagues): I like the heavily restricted deckbuilding it brings, as well as the added level of strategy that comes from dealing with a limited vault, both for you and your opponents.

The Vault is the core of War. Over seven Wars of insanity, the Vault is the only thing that has remained constant. It needs to stay in anything called 'War' - anything else needs to be refered to as something different.

My opinion is that vault keeping is not hard - granted, I've been part of War in some sense for a very long time, so this opinion may come from experience. The Vault system can definitely be modified to be friendly to a wider amount of people, but it should not be removed.

Spoils, though...yeah, off the plank with them please.



Since I haven't really posted here, I'm just going to say that basically everything that could go wrong for us did. Many of these were my fault, mostly due to steadily decreasing mental stability, but not all. We still stood a good chance if we didn't go 0-5 in Round 4 - that could have been a comparatively excellent 3-2 round, but alas not.

Simplify? I agree to remove the spoils. It was such an anticlimax to be kicked out just due to 1 game, and it made things much more complicated.
However I think it's good that we try to make the wars look different.

Regarding the time of the event I'd like to add that no event what I can recall has worked smoothly with no delay in round posting and so on. War shouldn't last much longer than 3months if rounds are posted as intended. ( I don't say this is the Wm fault just that that is the way it is )

So I wonder how to make war simpler whiteout removing the fun or make it look to much like other events?
