I think Marsu did right, why waste time being that the current format of war  :life never will have chances.

This was historically true of gravity and light as well. Gravity easily could have won this war, and Light nearly won a few wars ago.

But yeah, the current format does not close the gap between life and the stronger elements. I think there are ways of making war more competitive between elements, but I think an active team with any element has a chance to win war.

This I disagree with. During war 2, life got third place, tied for second if you go by round knockout.
Its all about how you build, and sadly, how the rules are formed. Sometimes the rules are against certain elements.

But can you clarify what rules are specifically against life? This is an important question to answer so that future wars can be more balanced.

Life has potential to be a very strong element. But it depends on how it is built. To start war, I was surprised life didn't choose rustlers as they go well in a lot of decks (RoLtosis, mitodragons, etc) but it does seem to be an unpopular element... (See the amount that chose life in TPvP)

If I could do something to change this war, I would change the starting vault. Not saying its bad, just saying that I would have made some slight modifications to it.

MANY decks run CC or shields.  Using rustlers pretty much makes your deck into a light/life duo, which not only is weak to cc, but also has no way to deal with shields.

Life is not a hard element to use it just needs a different approach compared to other elements it benefits more from other elements therefore a large vault is needed so unless it does reasonably early in war meta it will always fall early unlike aether amongst other 'stronger' elements its mono is perhaps one of the weakest whereas other elements can bounce back from 1 or 2 bad rounds the effect of that greatly cripples life I believe water showed that as well after our bad round we never recovered we survived not competed like someone else said realistically any element has a reasonable chance to win war it depends 30% on activity, 40% mindgating, 30% vault and 20% rng and yes i deliberately went to 110% percent.
love makin my decks unusual if able. Chaos and luck are widely regarded as different i beg to differ just refer to :entropy but for those in the know also refer to :time and :death.
