War #7 - Round 4

Not to be a downer, but I feel like teams that don't face a General this round are put at a significant disadvantage compared to teams that face one (or even more; see Vangelios' post) General(s) this round.

Will there be anything done here to balance this Event Card that helps some teams and cripples others?

And quite frankly, based on the matchups, I expect air to go 4-2 or better. So, not sure why only air is complaining about EC...

Just politely note i'm not complaining, but rather appreciating the pretty irony :3
(also air gets way better with more ups, so it would have been more beneficial to us than to some teams this round)

They're just reaaally afraid of me getting 9 ups vs them

I really like event card, though, it's perceived imbalance pales in comparison to that of rng handing you extra generals in other rounds.

On another note... no one else surprised 's matchups are barely grouped this round?

1. this is true of pretty much every element (moreso for some than others)
2. the amount of ups rarely determines if a team wins, rather the deck they play (granted, more ups can give you more options)

But they can only use them this round and you know who will play them before and vs who. Sounds fair to me

Ok, time and air are the only teams that got a different gen ratio.
Time got 2, air got 0.
I think it couldn't be more fair than it is now.
Look at what happens if time and air swap their gen fights?
Aether and air still gets no fun (because it would be a gen on gen action) and time loses both of his gen fights.

As far as I can see, you play a general and you both have the same number of upgrades, or you don't play a general and you both have the same number of upgrades (excluding Lt/relics). In my opinion, all this EC is doing is cancelling out the Gen advantage for every team.

This is how I am feeling about this. That said, some Elements benefit from upgrades more than others. So this Event Card tickles.
