darn, now only i realize how important it's to win as many matches as possible. Lose one means 1 deck gone....terrible.

Usually in War, when you lose, you die. So I think almost dying probably isn't as bad.

Pretty much this. War is about survival, not domination (at least IMO). It will be very interesting to see how the new roles and discard rules will affect late war.
