I *think* it means, you cannot sacrifice the extra ups you get from berserker role, but you can still use your role to get extra upgrades and you can sacrifice the original upgrades, e.g.

1. berserk 2 cards for +3 ups, but sacrifice the original 3 ups => use 3 ups in deck, and get 4.5 relics.
2. berserk 3 cards for +4 ups, but sacrifice 2 of the original ups => use 5 ups in deck and get 3 relics

and many other combinations.

Yeah that's what I figured, but it just seemed weird to include a second note when I would have thought it'd just be considered the same as the other roles without the extra upgrade bonus.

We changed the scoring rules so even those that have chosen not to take part until now still have great chances at prizes!

Betting stays open until the deck building phase ends.

the ups bonus we will get (if any),can it be distributed anyway next round?  Say I'm the general and use only 1 up, my team gets +12 ups next round or does it have to be me?
