WAR #6 - ROUND 4 Read the War Rules Contact Warmasters News: War continues! Deckbuilding: Duel phase has started Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. Decks are to be added to the Vault Google doc. Team Vault Manager works with the doc but all team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat. All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which, editing decks is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all of the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start. Duels: Fighting ends! Duel phase starts when timer hits 3 days left.. PM your opponent and try to find a time that suits you both. Time Zone Converter might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you are both are online, please contact Warmasters--Jenkar, Helston, and bjessee--immediately. If the match does not happen, you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and/or flexible. Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round (except the Strategist as noted in the Rules). How does the EC interact with Berserker (e.g. If I discard 3 cards and use no upgrades, do I get 6 relics?)

From Section 3.1 of the rules:

All teams must maintain a Team Rosters and Member Roles sticky topic in their secret forum section. This list says two things: 1) which players will join a round if the team has less than 198 cards, 2) the member role of each player. Teams are allowed to change the non-support roles at any time until the end of deckbuilding each round. Member order and which players are support must be completed before the deckbuilding phase.

So I believe, you made that choice previous round when you posted your member roster.

Does the event card mean that if a team uses 25 total upgrades (instead of the normal 27), then they get 2x1.5=3 relics next round, or do they have to use 2 fewer upgrades for each player to get the relics?

Relics are one-use +1 upgrades to a single deck.
