War #6 - Betting

War betting is back and better than ever.  Or at least as good as it was before.  At any rate, it is a chance to win fabulous prizes.
Scoring has changed.


The rules are simple and are as follows:

• You must have a forum account to join.
• Use the Google Docs form to make your bets each round.
• Bets will only be accepted during the deck building phase of each round.  Reference the appropriate round in the War subforum to view the deadlines.
• If a person places more than one bet in a given round, only the last one will be accepted.  A 1-point penalty will be assessed for each extra submittal.
• Each correctly guessed winner will award the bettor 1 point.  Support battles are not included.
• The three lowest scores from the first six rounds will be excluded from scoring.  This is to allow people to take part that were affected by the technical difficulties in round 1 and chose not to join.
• The person with the most points at the end of the war will be the winner.
• Ties will be resolved by a fight to the death the number of correct bets in the last round, then in the penultimate round, etc.

Prizes:
1st Place:  10k electrum
2nd Place:  5k electrum
3rd Place:  3k electrum

I might add more tiers if the number of participants increases.  So come and join.

Notes on the Google Form:

• The form will request your forum username and then your selections for the battles.  There may be more battles in the form than are fought in a round.  Extra records in the form may be left blank; selections for extra battles will not be considered.
• The form will list Player 1 and Player 2 as the selections.  These will correspond to the players in the matchups of the round summary.

Actually, that rule has been removed.  You can bid however you want on all matches.

For some reason the sheet decided not to record answer. This now has been fixed, but bets placed before this message weren't recorded, and, as such, must be redone if you want your bets to be counted. Sorry :F

Might be mistaken, but I think aether was the only team to run a suicide last war... Their general must have been an idiot or something.
