War 5 - Round 2

The first shot had been fired.  Everyone knew it was coming, but nobody had expected it to come from Time, whose power had already grown through the daring gambit.  Though it was early, already the balance of power was shifting.  Multitudes had gathered at the call of their generals, eager to aid with the growing war.  They brought with them tools and weapons, strategies and talents.  Everywhere they looked, the generals could see their troops sharpening slender blades, piecing together old broken down tools to make new weapons, and honing their woodcraft.  As the generals took stock of what new toys they had at their disposal a new plan evolved.  Oh yes, they could harness of the skills of these new conscripts.  The only real decision now was which avenue would lead to victory. Event Card: Notes:  A Scout may post the name of two cards before the deckbuilding deadline.  If the Scout wins the battle, s/he learns the number of said cards that were in his/her opponent’s vault at the beginning of the round.  Steal one copy of each if available.  If a scouted card is not present in the vault, steal 0 of that card. Notes:  Generals (and Generals only) may create a "Round 2 Event Card decision" thread in their secret section and post which one of the above their team selects. Other Notes:

Marsu removed from Team Life and War Belligerence moved from Team Life Support Team to Main Team swishy added to Team Life Support Team at a cost of 6 cards Deckbuilding: Duel phase has started Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. Decks are to be added to the Vault Google doc. Team Strategist works with the doc but all team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat. All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which editing deck post is strictly forbidden. Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round. I feel sorry for the  strategists already, this set of cards really will give him the "left overs - doesn't matter if you lose anyways".

Nobody will chose this card most likely I see most of the teams picking the salvage one.

It is a nice suicide card. A bit early for it tho.

In regards to the Event Card "Reclaimer", should that card be chosen by a Team and have their Salvager win, which of the following happen to total upgrades for the round?

• Total Upgrades = (Relics*TeamMembers*1^)+(Lieutenant*3^)+(General*6^)+(EventCard*TeamMembers*3^), or
• Total Upgrades = (Relics*TeamMembers*1^)+(Lieutenant*3^)+(General*6^)+(EventCard*3^)

Reclaimer gives three additional upgrades, not three per team member.  The three can be given all to the General, one each to the Sa, Sc, St, etc.

I understood this as 3+5, because of the word "additional" but some of my teammembers thought differently.
