comes off really mean now that fire lost, does it ::)
The round deadline was transgressed, it put another team at disadvantage, it's up to kev what to make of that. All I know is that in an earlier round we also did not communicate a problem early enough and were penalized for it by not getting salvage for a match where our player was active, which ended up costing us a bye at a later round.

For the record I have been impressed with Fire's performance throughout this War. I know from my Entropy times how it is like to be the team that everybody wants to see losing, so my sympathies are with you. You guys showed some great fighting spirit this War.

Thanks 10 men, it's not always easy but I am also proud my teammates keep having respect towards the community despite all the attacks for our way to approach this war.   This is my 4th war and the 2nd in which my team get some hatred (aether led by ICB in war 2 for those who we're there).  I guess it had teaches me never to get angry at what is said.  And I also  admire time and aether work this war, whoever wins will be quite worthy imho.

So I would have liked to play my match after Fire (because that gives a strategic advantage), so I scheduled my match for 4 hours before the deadline as that was the latest I could play. Fire counter: They schedule their match for 5 hours after the deadline! Genius!

Strategic advantage ? Sweet spot is not a strategy but a tactic if you want to put it very politely. And cheap & lowly one at that. It uses the rules out of context to create situations that contradicts with common-sense.

Judging by your behaviours, I think you went for salvage ?

So here is what happened boss-man; you went greedy and was so sure that fire would win vs us (i was confident i would win vs their grabbow) and now you have a ghostall, the thing you wanted. You wouldn't think of salvaging if you were unsure of the outcome of our match with fire.

mrpaper's extension demand has been granted without asking you and deuce which you have right to rant about. But as for your tactic, you just predicted wrong.

And if it is so that people can declare no-salvage AFTER duel-phase start, then it is just a terrible rule which you guys wanted to abuse.

So getting 6 more cards before the last match is "greed" and "cheap tactics"? I don't see a reason to call an abuse here. Apart from frustration ;>

Don't worry pal, it will be over really soon.

It is greed, if you expected aether to fall, because you would have to fight only one duel afterwards. So yes, it was "greedy" compared to the "safe" tactic.
It is "cheap" because it is possible, just :fire outsmarted :time with an even "cheaper" tactic. Not like it was fire's intention to deny time's tactic, and not like this counts much in the end. Ghostal surely has a chance against everything shown so far.

Btw, Hain, for some teams the sweet spot might have been strategic, LOL.

Oh, so according to you (not sure I get what you tried to say, sorry) we should stay in the sweetspot you so much hate instead? Little confused here. We don't salvage = OMG sweetspot abuse. Salvage = OMG cheap, greed. Make up your mind.

Also, this win vs. fire was just RNG you know? It's funny how some of you were so sure to get it.

10men assumed we would lose to fire and wanted more cards (ghostall) but he was wrong. This is as simple as that. It has nothing to do with fire doing their match early or late. It would be very stupid to let people decide their salvage option DURING the duel phase anyway.Besides, he did his match 4 hours before deadline ? Fire could do it 1 hour before the deadline and we would still be in the same situation.

Edit: And fire, they should have subbed. mrpaper was not available and I thought they wouldn't want salvage so i said i was okay with doing it late. I thought it was just that he wanted to play it himself. Why, because last round they didn't salvage but calindu refused to sub for him so i thought it was the same case. Simple fact is that mrpaper should have subbed. If you can't make it, you sub it instead of asking for extension during the duel phase itself.

When I refused? When? You said you spoke with him and I would simply sub if kev didn't gave the extension, that much drama for nothing.

This was last round. Last round i asked if you wanted to sub and you said "what for ? there is a lot of time for that. mrpaper will show up".

I'm not a general. I didn't ask for extension, mrpaper did. He said he was going to ask kev for an extension and i didn't refuse it. All three generals should have been okay with it. And personally i thought you guys didn't want salvage, i would raise an objection if i knew.
