Um this is not accurate. I was available, mrpaper was not. I waited for quite some time after the duel phase started and the i received a pm saying that he was busy painting the house. Today i got him on chat and he told me he could play 5 hours after the deadline and that he was going to ask you for an extension. I said i may not be available after 5 hrs from deadline but like 7-8 hours from deadline and he said it was cool. After that i saw this extension. I personally have no problem with playing on an extension but it was NOT like a situation where neither of us were available so we asked for an extension.

I didn't say neither of you was available. You and he need the full phase to meet up so the full phase was granted.

You keep saying we both needed it.  I'm saying i didn't need a full phase or anything, only he did.

Edit: The earliest he could play was +5 hrs after the deadline. By deadline i mean the end of the duel phase.

I didn't say neither of you was available. You and he need the full phase to meet up so the full phase was granted.

So I would have liked to play my match after Fire (because that gives a strategic advantage), so I scheduled my match for 4 hours before the deadline as that was the latest I could play. Fire counter: They schedule their match for 5 hours after the deadline! Genius!

But they needed more time to ninja-spectate us. Why, because this is not abusing a weakness of spectator but an actual legit and ethical strategy :p

FYI: I could'nt know Kev would try to bring the deadline for our match from 2 days to 1, I'm free from now till what would have been the true deadline except my sleeping time so there was no need for me to ask for a sub... if anything, Sot would have take his place back.  Sorry that everyone waited for me, but I can't play while everyone paints my house nor when I go to move my brother house (july 1st is national moving houses day here)

I don't mind an extension of the deadline, 24 hrs can easily be too short to play a match, completely understand that, but I do have a problem if this is done ninja-style after duelphase has already started without proper communication. It was known before the duel phase that it would be 1 day long and your schedule was presumably known to you too. Time now has a strategical disadvantage because Fire screwed up.

What disadvantage you mean? The salvage? Not a big problem, i guess

I didn't know about the next phase being only a day and I pm'ed Kev almost right when it started to say I would likely need an extension so it wouldn't affect this round except by making more time into it.  Then again, I understand Kev to wait and see if the match could be made anyway so this war would be shorter.  I'll stop here I lost anyway so all of that is useless.
