Spoiler for Hidden:
I do not know if this is the right place to ask this question: send me away if not...
I am relatively noobish in the game -- started playing on last November, but I have been grinding a lot so I have a lot of cards, many upgraded and rares too and some ~50K electrum so I can definitely buy whatever else I am lacking and need for a specific deck.
I would be interested in participating, but I have not played too much PVP and did not participate in any event (tourney, war, league) yet, so I am not sure if I should just read-along to learn this time and wait for the next one to join, or should I just jump right in and apply.
Basically, I would not want to ruin the fun for others due to my lack of experience.
So the question is: what would the veterans suggest for me: wait and learn OR apply to join this event ?
Thanks!

In terms of electrum/upped cards, you have enough to be competitive. Last War, you needed to make sure you had either enough electrum to upgrade 3 cards each week, or had enough upgrades you didn't have to worry about it. With 50k electrum and some upgrades already, you're good unless war goes at least 11 rounds, and in 11 weeks you'll make more electrum, anyway. If you've got at least 3 of each upped rare and 6 of the unupped ones, you'll have no worries at all, and you'll only likely need that many in the element whose team you're on. (shards are illegal in war) Nymphs are nice, but often not necessary; last war, we saw I think one entropy, one air, and several time nymphs, and none of the rest.
In terms of experience, I wouldn't worry about having a lack of pvp experience. For deck designing, it's a team effort, so you could in theory get by without any deckbuilding skills at all, but of course having skills will increase your odds of being bid on. Play skill will also be important, and pointing to previous experience will help, but elements is simple enough that it's hard to screw up the play if you take your time. (though it's definitely possible :p) If there are some intelligent posts or deck ideas you've commented on, or decks you've created and posted (or could post) you can point to those as evidence that you know what you're doing. You can also mention other CCGs you may have played and for how long; I did that in my war app, though I don't know if anyone cared, but I figured it couldn't hurt.
Basically, if you want to play, apply, and the worst that can happen is you don't get to play; it costs you nothing to apply
