    Would someone mind adding the number of upgrades used by everyone besides Generals/Lts. beneath the member roles section of the Rule set?

      Since there's no more Vault Organizer, I think it should be Strategist instead? Though it doesn't matter much because anyone can post the changes.
    Fixed ty.  The vault tool will handle deck submissions, salvaging, discarding, converting, and penalties.  Teams are free to create threads for discussion purposes but such threads will not be required as they have been in previous Wars.

    I just wanted to reemphasize what might be the most important rule change for War 4:

    3. Strategist
    Strategist makes sure that the team Vault is up-to-date at all times by building the initial vault, noting which decks the team uses each round, and listing cards salvaged and discarded, all at the team’s direction.  Because decks used, salvaged cards, and discards are all submitted using Google Docs (a new process to War 4), a War-experienced strategist proficient in Google Docs may be valuable to a team’s success.  The Strategist can use up to 3 upgraded cards during duels.
    Basically out of necessity the Vault Organizer, Deck Builder, and Salvager positions from previous Wars were collapsed into the new Strategist's responsibilities.  The whole War is built around the Vault Google Doc.  Countless hours were spent making it user friendly but teams who have a Strategist who a) is reliable, b) has War experience, and c) can do things like not overwrite formulas in Excel/Google docs, is going to have a big edge.

    I'm not 100% clear on how upgrades will be handled with vaults.  For example, if we had 3 novas in our vault, do we have access to supernova?  My understanding would be with that example of 3 novas, we could make a deck with 3 novas, 2 novas 1 supernova, 2 supernovas 1 nova, or 3 supernovas.  Is this correct?  If not, how does it work?

    Vault cards are unupped. When a deck requires a certain card to be upped, the card gets 'transformed' into an upped card when it's taken out of the Vault and put into the deck.

    If you have exactly 3 Novas in the Vault, then you can use the following:
    - 1 Nova
    - 2 Nova
    - 3 Nova
    - 1 Supernova
    - 2 Supernova
    - 3 Supernova
    - 1 Nova + 1 Supernova
    - 2 Nova + 1 Supernova
    - 1 Nova + 2 Supernova

    Essentially, your Nova + Supernova count used in decks must not exceed the number of Nova cards in Vault.

    I'm fairly certain that those don't apply after initial vault. In 4.1, it's mentioned that:

    Teams are allowed to change the order at any time by modifying the Member Roles thread.  For the order to be changed for the next round, the edit to the Member Roles thread must be made by the beginning of the deckbuilding phase (or the end of the previous round's duel phase).  At that point the Member Roles threads are used by the WMs to seed the round.
