Exclude 1 of 9, death (seems random).
Then is 1-5 1-6 2-7 4-8 (from actual ranking's standing). This seems to lack in randomness instead.

Oh, and as Malebolgias' saying in chat, the placement of the Lt seems intentional.

If you asked me, I don't know how.

I just know why I said it, just read the other posts before mine. Especially those with keywords: again (which is a word for repeat), haunt (which is also a word for repeat).
It is true, measuring randomness requires a bigger sample, but 3 in a row at these odds are close enough to state, something isn't random here.

Really sucks missing this because of a horrible Round 8, some play mistakes and matching up against the only deck we couldn't possibly beat in Round 9.
I hope you're all glad we crushed Entropy's Discord/EQ deck and took Time's Poisondial on us though :>

Very good setup to end this war #4.  I'm glad the rankings shook down to this 'almost' general vs. general smash-out.  Each team can setup to poise for the next round if they win (with as much flexibility as possible, this late) and we don't have to wait and see if some crazy event shakes things up more.

It is theoretically possible for the finals to be Light vs Light :p

This is definitely an interesting event card; good job to the organizers for creating an imaginative final event card.  I would have liked to see the 'convert cards to any card of your element' for the final round; this would prevent the 'everyone knows everyone else's vaults and match winners are virtually predetermined' problem, but I suppose it also wouldn't be fair to teams who managed their vaults better than teams who didn't.

Fire, Life, Light, and Earth have had byes so far.  The rules state "No team may have a 2nd bye unless all other active teams have had at least 1 bye."

Btw, it is impossible this seeding was random.

Apart from the first match (as explained above), all of this and every other round was random.  I have been accused of repeating matchups, creating "interesting" matchups, and setting matchups to negatively impact a team.  The truth is this: I intentionally avoid looking at matchups before I copypasta them in the round thread.  If two teams have faced each other frequently, it is coincidental.  If you want a more complex seeding system please say so in the Feedback thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,31674.0.html).
