The bets being visible during betting can be exploited, especially in the last round - e.g. No 1 and No 2 are way clear of the rest of the bettors in the last round. No 1 waits until No 2 submits his bet then submit the exact same thing. Whatever happens, No 1 beats No 2.

This is definitely possible.  However, #3 (or anyone else) could make a completely different bet and theoretically pass them both.

It is just patently unfair to #2, he has no chance of winning at all. Perhaps that sheet could be hidden for the last round? I can't think of good exploits for the earlier rounds - not to say they don't exist.

I keep telling Google I live in Chicago and it keeps calling me a liar and telling me I live in Bucharest.  Some scores were 0 due to a timezone issue but the problem has been corrected.  Take a look at your bets in the second post of this thread and if you believe there's an issue with your score please let me know ASAP.

We might unembed later.  Having it embedded now helps us avoid a situation where players aren't sure whether their bets are registering.

It will be challenging to catch up if you miss a round but it's definitely possible.  Also rewards might be given to more than just the top-1 bettor.  And Vegas wouldn't lie to you: betting is fun!  So keep sending them in.

Looks like 57 players submitted R4 bets, but you weren't one of them.    You're not the first to complain about a submission not occurring, so it might be best to check your submission in the second post of this thread after you submit.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

It's very likely a user error. I've used these Google forms for a long time, and I've never seen a submission not go through. An error in the way data is handled in the spreadsheet is of course plausible and could lead to submissions disappearing, but if the raw data that comes directly from the form does not have the submission of a specific user, that user probably didn't send it. Why that is, I have no idea. It could be anything from forgetting to click the last button, to having a network error or something.

And the fact that there have been multiple cases of these, is probably due to the fact that every time you ask tons of people to do something, small percentage will do something else. If you ask 100 people to press "Button 1", about 2-3 of them will press "Button 2". That's a statistical fact.

I had all my submissions go through, but I have my idea of why this is happening. The form takes a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time to send the data, and if you close the tab too soon...
