Quick question of curiosity:

If underworld were to win the war, and they overthrow the current grand master, what would happen until next war, cuz the underworld general doesn't stay the underworld general, so... what exactly would happen? Or is there some info I'm missing?
Ooh! Another text box!

No idea. No rule has been previously set.
Warmasters will sort something out if it starts to come about.

If (knock on wood) an underworld general becomes grandmaster, I would say the way to go would be to give him/her a free pass into the UW tourney and a frst round bye. Its a bit weird then though because the whole idea of UW becomes distorted when a player who would be chosen for war by an element ends up back on a team of players who are supposedly "not good enough". I think it could work, the myth would just have to change a bit.

What happened to the War?   :o
Entropy and Underworld have taken the fight to Aether and now it is a free for all. ( I lose how one of aethers last decks is devtal. )
If I could change my war bet it would be.....
 :underworld :entropy :fire :aether :death
Thats my bet, I like death but I think this could be their last round if they are under 60 cards. Right now I fear Entropy more than any other team but I still believe UW will be the team to win this thing.

LongDono, you seem confused; let me help.

Entropy and UW did not take the fight to Aether.  They chose not to salvage in Round 11 to AVOID taking the fight to Aether.  Cowardice.

The only teams that can be eliminated this round are UW, :fire, and :entropy.  Arithmetic is an underrated skill!

Knock on some wood please Long.

We actually didn't sub intentionally (as far as I know), and so weren't avoiding "taking the fight" to Aether.
That's not to say though that we didn't benefit from playing one and that Death potentially suffered from playing two.

Agreed we potentially suffered from playing two but that was the plan, high risk, high reward. Winning both matchups would have put us in a very good position and would have probably sent a crippling blow to aether. Go big or go home. If i could have chosen i would have preferred to either have won both or lost both.

I like this concept a lot but I would change one thing.

Instead of UW Grandmaster getting a first round bye, he or she should get a free pass to the final battle. UW tournament would happen as usual, but instead of the winner getting crowned the General, he or she would have to fight one last time, against the current UW champ. Sucks for that tournament winner but that's :life.

Whatever happened in the final battle, the winner of the tournament would of course get the "King of Underworld" icon as a reward, and would get a spot in the UW team as a Lieutenant.
