Deckbuilding Deadline: 9th Feb GMT 0:00 Duel phase has started Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. All team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat. All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which, editing decks is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all of the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start.	Duels Deadline: 12th Feb GMT 0:00 Fighting ends! Duel phase starts when deckbuilding ends. PM your opponent and try to find a suitable time. Time Zone Converter might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you both are online, please contact Warmasters--serprex, iancudorinmarian, and asdw152--immediately. If the match does not happen, you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and flexible. Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round. What is this EC? Ian's revenge for earlier Wars' ECs? Everyone built a Vault with new decks in mind, and you
can screw those decks because friendly other teams may just kill those decks. War should be fun.
(Don't tell pls that we can do that to other teams as well. This EC is simply cruel. Even if we can transmute.

If it is a "balance" patch it shouldn't be cumulative. Teams should have the option to re-vote if the card is already nerfed
by another team.

I actually think this EC is perfectly fine how it is. I think people will be surprised with what other teams choose to nerf. Also, you even have the option of nerfing a card that you have in vault on purpose so you can transmute it. And if you’re worried about wasting your teams choice because other teams chose to nerf the same card then pick something else that’s less likely to be mass nerfed. And if you’re worried that if you don’t nerf it, no one will, then I think the EC is working great because you have to weigh risk and reward and prioritize what your team needs. Also some cards won’t really be affected by only a -0.5 change. So if teams think one card is super broken it gives them the option to all stack on it, and the teams who have those cards aren’t punished that badly because of transmute. Those teams probably aren’t wasting their nerf on their own card either, which means they target specific match ups or other OP cards while the rest of the teams are all wasting their ban on one strategy which the targeted team can just switch up anyways through the transmute refund.
