WAR #11 Round 3 12 armies arrive at the glorious battlefield, each with their weapons drawn and their shields up ready for a battle. Each army is led by a daring General and a multitude of loyal troops, each ready to lay their life on the line for what they fight for. 12 armies will enter the battlefield, but only 1 will leave at the end. Deckbuilding Duel phase has started Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. All team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat. All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which, editing decks is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all of the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start.	Duels Fighting ends! Duel phase starts when deckbuilding ends. PM your opponent and try to find a suitable time. Time Zone Converter might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you both are online, please contact Warmasters--Zawadx and Jenkar--immediately. If the match does not happen, you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and flexible. Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round. Super Event Card Within the first 24 hours of the round, a team may declare up to two cards which they wish to ban. Their opponents won't be able to use these cards against them this round. Declare cards in a thread in your secret section, titled "R1-3 Super EC". You may ban a card only once over the course of the three rounds for which the event card stands. You may not ban two cards of the same element in one round. Time to send in bans: No time left! Event Card "There's a theme in this event card if you look hard enough!" Any card which is banned by some team in Round 3 is considered 'marked'. At the start of the duels phase, a thread will be posted in the secret section list the names and quantities of 'marked' cards in the deck for each opponent. Aves, I believe marked cards work like this:

Say if fire bans fractal, bone wall.

But no other element bans those two cards, when an element uses those cards (obviously not into fire), the opponent will be told that the deck they are versing contains Fractal, or Bone Wall.

That... makes sense. But it also sounds pretty useless. There can be some benefit from hiding cards, sure, but this sounds like a close to zero impact.

There will be lots of tiny penalties for incorrect information in secret section. There, ec got an impact now.

Edit: Nvm, missread, I thought the teams themselves had to post each card they use that is banned anywhere.

No. You will learn the information only from their deck versus you.

Not all ECs have to have large impact, especially since super EC is around. Enjoy some peace and quite in the first truly cutthroat round.
