On a serious note, SoP shouldn't be 300. It is comparable in strength to dims and fractal, maybe a bit stronger, but the key thing is that it is usable by ALL elements, which shouldn't put it so close to SoFree, which is only usable by air (properly) and maybe life. Imo it should be 250.
I don't understand why a card that is usable by all Elements should be cheaper than one that isn't. In fact, I think the same argument was used to justify the increased cost of Grabbows a War or two ago.
To put it another way, I don't know why a card that is mainly used by one Element should be made more expensive. Sure, if you want to hurt that Element in the market a little go ahead, but if that isn't the reason then why should it cost more?.
Not to mention that usable by all doesn't necessarily mean equally usable.
The reasoning for Market is to refresh the meta, as well as introduce a tentative balance between elements. The drastic changes are usually made with the idea of changing the meta in mind. SoP was a very dominant card last war, being used more times than several pillars/pends, dims, deflags or steals. The high price is our attempt to rein it in.
Of course, one should consider just how effective the market has been. I believe that after this war we will have enough data to give a definitive answer about the viability of market as we know it, and decide whether it has done enough to be worth the effort. Nova and Graboid are still some of the highest used cards despite having the highest costs, so perhaps market is flawed at the core?
why is Nymphqueen more expensive then NT? it is harder to fit in, as its slower, especially when you need an offelement nymph first (or didnt even want to produce a queen) and its less usefull in vault because of fewer people having it.
It's preferable that nymphs be overpriced rather than underpriced to maintain beginner friendliness of the event.
Now, some changes:
Dragonfly: 110 -> 100 (Price might have been based off my subjective view of the card, now is in line with the other best quanta generator in devourer)
Guardian Angel: 50 -> 60 (Previously had a massive buff, made buff normal-sized)
Shard of Focus: 200 -> 180
Ice bolt: 85 -> 70
Lightning: 170 -> 160 (A slight buff for aether)
PU: 90 -> 80 (A slight buff for aether)
Chrysaora: 70 -> 60 (It's overuse last war does demonstrate its potential, so keeping it higher than its power level for now)
Ash Eater: 50 -> 40 (more in line with weak bad creature like Antlion)
Spark: 50 -> 40 (Spark is interesting. Photon is not)
SoI: 80 -> 70 (Was very high before due to Physsion's views. It's not as powerful in a war setting)
SoB not touched since I believe it's at an appropriate spot for power level. Gravity hitters untouched because there's a reason they were priced like that.
