War Auction is now open for applications! Please read the Rules carefully before applying. Specific instructions for applying are provided here.

It would be a good idea to include in your application whether you are proficient with Google Docs, since the vault is managed with them. In fact, applications don't restrict you at all - so simply include all the stuff you want.

One thing to note: the current application deadline is a lower bound for time to submit application. The final deadline has yet to be finalized, as we have some scheduling issues to figure out.

This is a rough timeline of what we are aiming for with each of our deadlines and major portions of War.

~October 4	Vault Building Ends / Round 1 Begins

This Timetable is very rough, and the exact start date for vaultbuilding and rounds will depend heavily on how auction proceeds. Note that Auction will begin on the 18th of September, so be sure to use the time to get those apps in! Also, rounds will begin on Wednesday/late Tuesday, so that weekends can be split between duels and deckbuilding.

Due to the limited number of applications, this war will run with 4 players per team. So Generals will recruit 3 players each from auction.

Do not trust the Total team cost presented in auction right now: it does not count total of all winning bids, which is the crucial number for you. You should be able to esily calculate this from the winning bids shown, however.

Developing a fix shouldn't be too hard, so someone willing to work one out is welcome.

From this point on if your bid is lower than minimum bid by 5 points, we will simply treat that as a derp and consider your bid to be at the required minimum bid level.

Once again, the clock has bugged.
This should be fixed, however, a number of bids were done based on the bugged clock.
These bids (provided they were illegal solely for that reason) will pass.

If the clock bugs down once again, the google doc version will be taken down, and manual checking will be required.
Furthermore, if the gens feel that the clock is innacurate at one point, check manually. The start time is in the auction clock sheet, in EDT-1.
