not a fan of this EC (basically the reverse minefield EC), but curious to see how it pans out

Statistically speaking, air is gonna be at a lot higher risk to lose the most cards, unless teams decide to target gravity or an "easier" element... Wonder what "one deck to rule them all" Afda and www3 will bring

Either Gens don't post decks until all matches played, or the EC matches don't get played until both Gens post their decks.

So for the EC, this is what I understand.

Say if I were in team life and the general. I play mono life vs my actual opponent (not using the EC). Life were #1 in the standings.

DB phase is over and I see that 5 teams have chosen the EC to verse life.

I have to use that same general deck as I used vs my actual opponent in the battles for every single one of my EC matches?

I know this is a hypothetical situation, but you could have at least made it believable...

Does it really make much of a difference? Just using an example so every other team can relate because I'm not saying Darkness is #1 or Air is #1 which would be harder for the other elements to interpret...

I like this EC. It's both a way for the lower teams to have a shot on the top team. It will also be very interesting deck predicting. And super exciting games.

5X is way too much. Consider the fact that RNG happens. You lose this match and it is equivalent to a 0-5 round. It would be sickening for air if they lost this, and remove the only potential challenger if they win it.
I love the EC, except 5X. 5X is almost turning the whole of war into a bo5

... shit, I hope that the WMs have foreseen a way around this logistical nightmare. Even if it's explicitly forbidden, good luck proving that, for example, I didn't leak web's deck to Afda or that Odii didn't leak Afda's deck to web (or the other way around; that is, Afda didn't leak web's deck to me or web didn't leak Afda's deck to Odii).

Also, suppose Entropy uses this EC on Darkness (the two already have a regular General v General scheduled). Should they play the regular Bo5 first before the EC?
