How many relics is required for a significant advantage? Give me examples, folks. Yall keep saying that late in War, relics become super OP. Has this actually ever been demonstrated to be the case? And if your entire vault can't fend off one deck, maybe that's an issue with how you discarded? Counters are counters. Upgrades aren't everything, as Light Trials have shown. If one fully upgraded mono is a big fear, maybe shape your discards towards a counter to whichever (*cough* aether *cough*) element it looks like you'll have to fend off?

Furthermore, they'll have been many many more opportunities for teams to collect relics than just this EC. I find it extremely unlikely that the WMs are going to go yeah, round 4 EC. Only one that can possibly change things. Definitely not making any other ECs. Nope. No more chances for relics either. Nope nope.

I like how it seems that people have an extremely high evaluation of Relics, yet almost no one has used the Gambler boost so far (3 out of 12 Teams, 5 out of the 180 roles so far).

It mostly is because you  have 1/6 of shooting the score right... but you have to forfeit any battle advantage (sideboard and +2 salvage comes first for pretty much every team all the time) so it basicaly comes down to gambler vs salvager vs discard vs mercenary for the last role so no surprise that it isn't used often.

and for the upgrades advantages... try to beat any good grabbow with 25 upgrades while you have 8 ups (including 4 in elements) ... have fun unless you 100% predict the actual deck!

During every war i have seen, that has been usually (if not always) frowned upon. And the way it favours some teams is in a way just one step behind naming teams. Not to mention a shout out earlier would be nice, it is open to discussion how teams would react this EC at the beginning of R3 since it is very clearly about R3 but not R4.

The EC isnt that big a deal. Its not rewarding that much at all, if im being honest here. People are thinking that it will have a massive effect, but it really wont. Watch at the end of round. Also, your example is even more out of context, so please
