Okay, The Penultimate War Tool (
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvdifMTdMyhEdGdXa0VObk5tN0t0aWhIRVg2aGRnS1E&hl=en_US&pli=1#gid=10) is now 100% operational, ready for war usage!
Tested with entropy's vault. 15 rounds went well. I believe 1-2 day in early rounds and 1 in later will be large enough (with 1 deck, it took me about 20 mins)
Also, User's guide! (note : this guide suppose you know war rules).
First thing first : input fields are (nearly all, the only input field which is black will be detailed later) blue. The rest can be unimportant or vital, so don't touch. Also, adding/removing columns/rows or changing sheet names will most certainly cause the script to bug. Again, don't touch.
Here are the tabs, and what they do.
- Starting Vault: This tab is where you input your ... starting vault! All cards are listed, so you only have to enter the number you want of each. The sheet will inform you of any errors that you do.
- S/D/C/P: This is where you do your salvage/discards and conversions, as well as input card modifiers due to event and penalties.
- Salvage/Discard : after each round (save round 0), you will have to input your win/loss status for each player. If it is a win, you will also have to input your opponent's deck. You then input salvage/discard modifiers (example : i can salvage 3 more cards due to event. I put 3 in salvage modifier).
Cards you can salvage/discard will show up (with the amount you can salvage/discard). You will then input at their right the number you want to input. THIS is the only black place you wil have to input in.
If you are allowed to salvage AND discard for the same player, you will have to input one as an event modifier (see under). If you have to discard more cards than are in your decks (for example, due to the point card in war 3), you will have to input extra discard as an event modifier. - Conversion/Events/Penalties : pretty simple. Input a card on the leftmost column of this table, and it will show you how much are available. To convert, enter a number in Pillars (to convert to pillars) or Pends (Pendulum). To remove due to penalty, in penalties, and to modify from events in + (if event gives you more) or - (if event removes some from your vault).
- Deck Compliance: This is where you input your decks, along with relevant information.
- Input Player Name : Enter your players name (this allows easier tracking of who used what when).
- Input Deck code : unless you use the option in the next column... input your deck code here.
- Deck Building Tool? : If your code is generated through deckbuilding tool (see below), type Y.
- Upped Cards Allowed : put your number of upped cards here.
- Planned Suicide : Type in Y if this deck is an illegal, suicide deck. This also means that you forfeit the match.
- Error codes : Errors are shown here.
- Open Deck Building Tool : See under
- Deck Building Tool : Input cards & mark, and this will generate a code. This code without spaces will be able to be used in import ingame.
