This is something we will most likely have in war #2.

Problem with some teams in War #1 has been lack of leadership. Masters haven't given clear "jobs" for team members, so nobody knows who' supposed to do what, and nobody does anything. To fix this problem I though we should have clear roles for each team member.

Master: Communicates with Warmaster. Makes sure other team members are doing their jobs (like deckbuilding) and fighting their battles.

Deckbuilder: Starts the deck topic for each round and leads the deckbuilding discussion. Everyone on the team joins that discussion, but it's Deckbuilders job to make sure that all decks are ready on time.

Salvager: Starts the "Salvaging/Discarding" topic. Everyone on the team joins the discussion, but it's Salvagers job to make sure that all discarding and salvaging are done on time.

Vault Organizer: Makes sure Vault is updated. Only person on the team that edits the Vault.

etc.

As long as these titles are "loose," I'm all for it.

However, if they're rigid and the *only* person that can make the deck building topic is the deck builder and such, I don't think it's a great idea. What if the deck builder has something to do or a busy week and can't be online enough? Or if he goes out of town? What about any of the other positions? Ideally, everyone would be active enough to to do their jobs, but things come up. The vault organizer shouldn't be the only one with access to change the vault, nor should the salvager be the only one able to make salvage topics, etc.

Wouldnt it make sense to merge Deckbuilder and Salvager duty? Deckbuilder is the one that has best idea of what cards team will need. Not that other roles cannot be merged into a same person, but Salvager (if thats his only job) cannot really do anything on his own and require extra steps of communication, meaning time, meaning chaos.

Yes, of course. These rules would be very "loose". For example if the Vault Organizer is unable to do his job, all he has to do is talk to someone about it and rest of the team will do the work for him.

Well, the idea was that Salvager only starts the topic and presents the decks where the team can salvage from. Then the Master and deckbuilder (+others) talk about what to salvage.

I am all for this.
But i dont think it's possible, for example in my team i am doing all this things alone(and i am so fucking tired right now, i spent 3 hours to adjust :darkness decks). I don't think we'll find 72 active players to do all this thigs..

I never forced you to make those decks you did it out of your own choice, I did say I would make some but you went ahead (which I'm grateful for) but there's no need to go round trying to pretend that you were forced into doing this. Sure if you didn't we would've probably ended up doomed to fail and almost definitely out of the competition.

Also there's no need to go round blaming other people in team :darkness for there inactivity, people do have problems gaining access to a computer and when they do finally get to it you shouldn't be there snapping there heads off. I'm fine with you being annoyed with them so long as you tone it down.

You were the one who asked to join not vice versa.

that's what i am talking, people always will have problems in real life  and sometimes they would be inactive, and this make impossible giving roles to every memeber.

Sorry about blaming you. I was just pissed off. But you must agree that beside you nobody else is studying the enemy and making right decks

Problem with War #1 was that most teams had random players that nobody had ever even heard of. With the new "Slave Market" system, inactive players will be weeded out because Masters will pick only the ones that seem active (hopefully).

Well, I like the idea, only think we of to do is come up with some 'cool' names, like:

Master = General

Deckbuilder = Supplier

Salvager = Spy (thanks to $$$man)

Vault Organizer = Treasurer

Well, we can have a brainstorm session about it.
