Be patient. Those of us who can't say things like "participated in the last war" or "did extremely well the various PvP events" etc. won't be bid upon right away. When other better players are too costly and the generals are trying to save every last card they can, that's when they'll start bidding on less than well known slaves, to fill in their fifth or sixth spot. I'd just recommend going and farming to get all possible rares, and more cards overall to increase your chances of being picked.

PMing generals is probably not a good idea.  That's why we have these threads.  But thanks for tossing us under the bus, Rasta.  It's also ill-advised to bump your thread.

But I am pretty surprised at how few people provided links.  The "Why I would make a good War team member" section is underused.  No Masters are drafting based solely on how many upped damselflies you have.  Use this opportunity to show the decks you're most proud of, the ideas you've spent the most time developing, and your ability to out-think opponents in pvp.  For example, the deck suxerz used in the Biggest Loser competition was friggin brilliant, and might be enough alone to induce me to bid.  But because he didn't link it he relied on me being motivated enough to find it myself.
