Shards in War #9, a poll

Simple question. Am curious how thoughts have changed since this was last brought up. Hopefully this provides an accessible reference for War #9's WMs to evaluate this

Known issue: Shards aren't equally accessible to their elements. No matter the rules, SoI decks are difficult to find a place in War's deckbuilding. SoG, SoV, SoBr & SoD all suffer when War's deckbuilding involves in-element pends & off-element mark

I voted for "NO" since allowing a few Shards once in a while via an Event Card wouldn't hurt imo.
However, I really understand those who wish Shards to be banned completely, because the imbalance they can bring to a card pool can be legendary.

 Because I can said that  lots of players feel exactly the same as me, even when someone said just isn't true.

Also means we gotta be extra cautious on how we allow them and what to do with the strenght of em.  maybe something like each shard cost 5 cards  and got a max of 6 would be fair?  Think of earth team who will just cry hère looking at shards!

No one ever said that they could only use their elements' shards.

Have fun trying to build a good shard deck with at least 50% earth in it!  I guess you could use something like 6 earth shards, 4 quanta and 5 bb.... But it is likely going to make weak monsters, juste like a couple other elements will have weak shards too and somme totally op.. Hence why the high cost and limit I suggest.

Earth is not limited to using only Shard of Integrity. They can benefit from Shards of other elements.
